Wwoof UK is an organisation founded in 1971, originally standing for Willing Worker On Organic Farms. Wwoofing is an exchange of work for accommodation and food.  Much more than that, wwoof hosts benefit from helpful hands, new faces, new energy, good company, new ideas and “wwoofers” can learn new skills, travel and experience different lifestyles first hand.  Wwoof now stands for World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms and you can wwoof in Hawaii, Japan, and Sweden, in fact in any country that has it’s own national wwoof organisation. Look up www.wwoof.org for more information.
